I forgot some of the story content of my old writing, so it’s interesting looking back at the journal entries. And for anyone who doesn’t know, TAKS is Texas Assessment of Knowledge and Skills, which already has a new name. The essay I mentioned was a practice essay.

Yesterday I worked a little more on the chapter “Thangor.” However, I found that jumping back into the story in a tense scene is difficult. What I need to do is go back and read through until I can build myself back up to it. On a different note, I have been thinking about how to put the books in order. This might turn from a trilogy back to a series, or rather there would be a book for the backstory, including the “Creation, The War before Time and the Fall of the Allies.” This came about because I made a plan sheet for a TAKS Long Essay on the Fall of the Allies. I think the story would be too long to put in appendices. “The War Before Time” is a war between flying horses and dark creatures of Morthonwe during the battle of the stones. All the flying horses disappeared after this battle. This also means going back through the lay and possibly make it better. I don’t know if the whole thing will be in the “Rebellion Begins” or just part of it but I will decide on that later. Otherwise, I’ll get back into the story soon and hopefully make a lot of progress.
