I am not the best writer in the world nor do I pretend to be. I never set out on this journey for my books to compete with the great literary geniuses and wordsmiths. I hope that when you read my books, you see a passion for storytelling.
I have always loved stories. Movies, television shows, internet shows, books, short stories, poetry, fan fiction, comics, even music, and games. Whatever medium that has interesting characters and storylines. This spans across fiction and nonfiction. The story could be 100 words or 100,000 words. I’m not picky as long as it entertains me.
Everything that I’ve loved about the stories I’ve experienced, as well as what I thought should have been different, all pushed me to become a writer, to be able to create a story exactly as I want it. I’m the type of person whose imagination is always alive and buzzing. I can be sitting alone in public, but in my mind, I’m deep within some kind of story.
That’s what my books are, a manifestation and a celebration of that imagination and a desire to share it with others. And writing has always been the easiest way to express myself. My books are not perfect, even though to me, they always will be. Love them, hate them, it makes no difference. My response either way would be, “Thank you for giving them a chance.”
The rise of self-publishing has been a wonderful thing. I can channel my imagination to create the stories as I see fit. I don’t need anyone’s permission. I can write from my heart and let my imagination run wild. No one can take that away from me or stop me.
My writing to this day still has the same goals: to entertain and inspire. I know how dark and hopeless life can become. Stories and my imagination help me get through rough times. I can’t guarantee that you’ll like my books, connect with them, or think they’re any good, but they are written from my heart. And I hope that my books can bring a little light into your life if you’re also going through dark times or provide you with entertainment from the first to the last pages.
